Challenge #2: "This is for the birds!"

Hi everyone! Welcome to our Stamptacular Sunday Challenge!

This week's challenge is called "This is for the birds!"


For this challenge not only do you have to incorporate some sort of stamping on your project but you also must include at least one bird on your project as well. You are free to create whatever you'd like as long as you follow the challenge requirements!

You will have from now until midnight (EST) April 18th, 2009 to complete this challenge and be entered in our random drawing for this week's fabulous prize donated by:

How appropriate, since this week is our new beginning. You are free to create any type of project that you choose as long as it is something for a New Beginning AND includes some type of stamping! Once you have completed your challenge project, please add your name and blog URL to our Mr. Linky. This will make it much easier for us to take a peek and see what you made! Just ONE...

more week until the new challenges will begin here at the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge Blog and hopefully the word is being spread all over the internet! TWO weeks until...

the BIG day! We've all been working really hard to make sure everything's in place so that this challenge blog is just PERFECT for all our fans!

As you can see, we've changed our background and header (created specially for us by our very own DT, Donna) because we want our challenge blog to be unlike any others on the internet!

Oh...I almost forgot...we also have a new blinkie LOGO for all of you to post on your blogs. Please feel free to copy and paste it to your blogs to help make it easier for you and all of your friends to find us! All you have to do is right click on the logo, scroll to "save image as", and save it to your hard drive. Once you've done that, click on Customize, Add a Gadget, and add it as a Photo. Be sure to click on shrink it to size AND type in http://stamptacularsundaychallenge.blogspot.com for the link. Voila! You will have a clickable logo on your sidebar of your own blog!

Only THREE weeks...

until the first challenge is launched! I hope that everyone is just as excited as the Design Team and I are! We've been working really hard to ensure that everything is ready for the big day!

Check your E-mail!

If you submitted an application for the Design Team, please check your e-mail. A letter has been sent to every person who applied for the team.

If you received a letter inviting you aboard, please be sure to send me an e-mail right away letting me know you are still interested. If I do not hear from you by midnight Wednesday March 4, 2009 I will offer your spot to someone else.

I am really looking forward to starting this journey with all of you, whether you are a part of the Design Team or someone who joins us for the weekly fun!

Thank You!

Now that the deadline to apply has passed, I would like to thank everyone that applied to be on the Design Team of the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge Blog! The response was AMAZING! I am currently sifting through all of the submissions and will sending out e-mails this week to each and every one who sent in an application.

There are so many talented artists out there and I am enjoying every moment that it is taking me to carefully look at each submission one by one! Please be patient with me during this process as it is going to be very tough to choose! I wish I could accept you all!

I would also like to say to anyone who isn't chosen for the DT at this time to PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE...don't give up! You weren't chosen because your work isn't good enough...there are just way too many entries to accept everyone! If your goal is to be on a Design Team, keep sending your work and applying to other DT's and by all means...PLEASE reapply for Stamptacular Sunday Challenge DT the next time I put out a call!

I certainly hope that whether or not you are chosen for the DT that you continue to support our Challenge Blog and participate in the fun each week! I will definitely look forward to seeing each and every one of you grow in your creativity as our Challenge Blog grows right along beside you!

Looking for Design Team Members!

Thank you for visiting the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge Blog! We will be launching our first challenge on April 5th, 2009.

But, before then I am looking to put together the perfect Design Team! As a DT member you will be required to:

* Submit a completed project weekly, via e-mail, following the challenge requirements, no later than the Friday before the challenge is posted to the blog!
* Take excellent quality photos of your completed projects.
* Post positive comments on ALL participants' blogs sometime during the week of the particular challenge they participate in.
* Be an active DT member of our Sunday Challenge Blog, share with me any and all challenge ideas you may have and want to see as one of our blog challenges, and HOST challenges, if needed.
* Help to find sponsors willing to donate prizes for our challenges (this can be friends, companies or yourself)
* Be open and honest with me when you feel there's a problem or something needs to be addressed or anytime you just want to chit chat.
* ENJOY participating and being part of my DT!

ALL ACCEPTED DESIGN TEAM MEMBERS MUST AGREE TO AND FULFILL A SIX (6) MONTH COMMITMENT!

If the above sounds like something you would like to be a part of and you're interested in becoming a Design Team member for our Brand New Sunday Challenge Blog, PLEASE e-mail me 2-5 samples of your BEST work...at least ONE of your submissions MUST be something other than a greeting card and ALL submissions MUST contain stamping!
